Flat embroidery on fitted, Flexfit and snapback caps
Flat embroidery is the standard decoration for a company, team or brand cap. Battle Born Clothing stitches it on two commercial single-head machines with Rapos thread and Maggie magnetic cap frames, and prices it from a published per-cap table.

Add one $18.99 digitizing fee per logo (standard 2-day turnaround). The file stays on ours for reorders. Logos over 6,000 stitches add $1.50 to $0.50 per additional 1,000 stitches depending on quantity (see the stitch count table on the pricing page), based on the digitized file.
Placements
- Front panel: the included placement, up to about 4.5 in wide on a structured crown, about 2.25 in tall
- Side hit (left or right panel): small logo or text, quoted per job
- Back arch above the closure: text or URL, quoted per job
- Visor edge: short text only, quoted per job
Caps with a center seam
Most 6-panel caps have a seam down the front. Embroidery crosses it without a problem; we hoop the cap so the seam sits centered and the design registers evenly. Only glued patches are limited by the seam.
Thread colors and matching
We match to your PMS colors from the Rapos thread chart and show the picks on the proof. Metallic thread and specialty thread are quoted per job.
Questions
How many stitches is a typical cap logo?
Most front logos land between 3,000 and 6,000 stitches. A 4 in wide dense logo can go higher; anything over 6,000 adds $1.50 to $0.50 per additional 1,000 stitches depending on quantity (see the stitch count table on the pricing page), based on the digitized file.
Can I mix cap colors in one order?
Yes. Same logo, same thread colors, any mix of blank colors in one order at one price tier.
Do you keep my digitized file?
Yes. Reorders use the same file with no new digitizing fee.
