Custom fitted and snapback hat pricing
Decoration is priced per cap and breaks every 24 pieces. Same logo, same order: every style counts toward the same price break. The blank is added on top. Flexfit, YP Classics, Zapped and New Era blank prices are quoted per job (usually the same business day) because supplier cost and brand pricing vary by style and color; the Richardson 112 snapback is listed below as a fully priced reference. 3D puff is quoted per design. One-time fees are listed separately.

What the per-cap price includes
- One front-panel decoration: flat embroidery up to 6,000 stitches (cap surcharge included), or one laser-engraved leather patch glued on.
- A digital proof before production and one round of revisions.
- Standard 28-day turnaround from proof approval.
- Size-sorting and packing for shipment. Freight is quoted with the order.
- Not included: the blank cap (quoted per job unless listed), one-time digitizing, extra placements, 3D puff.

The Richardson 112 is the one cap in this catalog with a published blank price ($13.50), so it shows what all-in looks like once a blank is added. Flexfit fitted blanks generally cost more than a 112; your quote will show the exact number.

3D puff embroidery
3D puff is quoted per design, not from the table. The price depends on the foam area, the stitch count of the puffed satin columns and whether flat detail is stitched around it. Stitch count and price
Every embroidery price on this site covers one design up to 6,000 stitches. Above that, each additional 1,000 stitches adds $1.50 (12-23 pieces), $1.00 (24-71), $0.60 (72-95) or $0.50 (96+) per piece. Partial thousands round up to the next 1,000. We digitize your art first and tell you the exact count with the proof, so there are no surprises on the invoice.

Why it works this way: machine time is stitches. A 12,000-stitch logo runs twice as long as a 6,000-stitch one, and the overage rate drops at the same quantity breaks as the base rate. Most left-chest and cap logos land between 4,000 and 7,000 stitches; large back designs and dense fills are where the count climbs. If your logo comes in high, we can often simplify the fill or reduce the size to bring it under 6,000.

Customer-supplied caps
You can send your own blanks. We charge $2.00 per item handling on top of the decoration price. Industry-standard spoilage allowance is about 4%; we aim for zero, but on customer-supplied goods we cannot replace a cap that is damaged in production. Send a couple of extras if the count has to be exact.
Rush orders
Rush is quoted per job. Tell us the in-hand date on the quote form and we will say whether we can hit it and what it costs. Blank availability at SanMar Reno is usually the deciding factor.
Worked examples
48 Flexfit 6277 caps, flat embroidered front
Decoration: 48 × $6.50 = $312.00. Digitizing: $18.99 once. Blank: 48 × the quoted 6277 price. Add the blank line and freight and that is the whole invoice.
144 Richardson 112 snapbacks, flat embroidered
All-in: 144 × $18.50 = $2664.00, plus $18.99 digitizing = $2682.99 before freight.
24 Richardson 511 flat bills, leather patch
Decoration: 24 × $7.50 = $180.00. No digitizing. Blank: 24 × the quoted 511 price. Want it sewn? Add 24 × $1.00 = $24.00.
72 Flexfit 6297F on-field caps, 3D puff number plus flat script
Puff is quoted per design, so this one comes back as a line item after we see the art. Flat-only on the same caps would be 72 × $6.50 = $468.00 plus $18.99 digitizing plus blanks.
12 customer-supplied New Era caps, flat embroidered
Decoration: 12 × $8.00 = $96.00. Handling: 12 × $2.00 = $24.00. Digitizing $18.99. Total $138.99 before return freight.
